Born and raised in New York, Tatiana graduated from Syracuse University's College of Engineering and Computer Science with a degree in Computer Engineering, Cum Laude. She currently works for Zillow as a backend lead for real time processing with Kafka streams, as well as architecting and implementing sampling algorithms, task managment systems, authorization code and search.


In technical aspects, Tatiana has a desire and thirst for a challenge. She enjoys working on various types of technologies such as decentralized applications, distributed systems (architecture and production) and blockchain engineering. She is fascninated by the intersectionality of finance, cryptography, economics, computer science, and game theory that interlace within these emerging incentivized blockchain ecosystems, as well as the problems that blockchains face in regards to expensive operations and scalabilty.


With incredible interpersonal skills, Tatiana is a consistent contributer in all teams both technically and professionally. For hobbies, she enjoys rock climbing, hiking, listening to techno and attending Meetups and conferences. She also enjoys giving back to the community and is active in mentoring younger women aiming for a tech career.


Thanks to time balancing skills, Tatiana is able to invest herself in multiple facets of her interests. Recently, she was chosen for Jimmy Song's programming blockchain scholarship and received a full sponsorship to Ng-Conf 2018 and PyBay 2018. Additionally, she was selected from 10,000 people as one of 300 to attend Google's Women Techmakers International Womens Day in Mountain View for both 2018 and 2019. Furthermore, she has given many professional presentations, some of which can be viewed on YouTube, and is an active Medium blog writer, with over 250K views on her stories!
